 A typical class will deeply stretch out tired muscles. The core exercises will strengthen and tone the entire body. The guided mindfulness meditation and breathing exercises will induce a sense of calm and relaxation.

Meditation is a simple and very powerful practice of focussing our attention. It’s powerful because it can interrupt the habit of getting lost in thoughts, mostly about the future or past, which often generates more stress.

Yoga and Pilates are non-competitive. One works within the limits of one’s own body.

If there are specific difficulties or ailments, your teacher will offer modifications and adaptations of the posture.
